課程大綱

Seventy long jokes collected over the past 20 years are used to revitalize and reconstructed students’ basic grammar concepts that they should have learned didn’t, such as tenses, verbs transitive and intransitive (complete and incomplete), types of clauses, subjunctive mood, etc. This online course will minister a survey and a pre-test followed by the same survey and test to monitor the learning outcome. The syllabus spreads over 15 weeks with content recorded into 30 online clips. Two hours are designated for viewing 2 episodes at home before coming to meet the teacher for 1 hour each week. It is hoped that boring grammar teaching could be redeemed and invigorated through the help of humor and laughter.
